Some notes about our Breakfasts
…and being a B&B (Bed & Breakfast), breakfasts are important! Our breakfast menu will change seasonally, and we will introduce new dishes from time-to-time. However, the following will remain consistent through this season:
Our Raised Waffles have become our Signature Breakfast Dish.
The batter is made the night before as it uses yeast, and, as the name suggests, the batter rises over night. The next morning, eggs are added, and you are ready to make the best waffles. The only trick is that if we run out of waffle batter at breakfast, there simply are no more waffles that morning because, again, the batter must rise overnight.
Maple Syrup
Yes, real maple syrup. We serve only real maple syrup, which we source locally. Then heat the maple syrup ever so slightly before serving it. Warm (real) maple syrup on raised waffle or on blueberry pancakes...as breakfast should be!
Fresh Free Range Eggs
We use certified free range, organic eggs.
Coffee
We use organic regular and decaf Colombian coffee beans in our brewing.
Fresh Organic Dairy
All of our dairy products including milk and butter are organic.
Organic
We are pleased with our efforts to be as organic at breakfast as is realistically possible in this location. We will continue those efforts. We are also sourcing locally as much as we can for the foods we use at breakfast. Here’s to your health and that of the planet.
